We are currently recruiting for a Unit/Site Manager at our high performing aseptic compounding site in Croydon. The Unit is going through a period of volume growth and the role will lead on capacity and process improvement
The person in this role will need an MHRA license and ensure that the Compounding Service Operation follows Baxter cGMP, customer needs, and the Manufacturing license.
The role will drive performance aligned with KPI’s and daily governance regimes. Providing technical skills and knowledge for all aspects of the department’s activities, including aseptic compounding, facility and equipment management, stock handling procurement and management of workflow.
Ensure that unit aligns with all corporate quality system policies and procedures. Responsible for the budget within the unit and financial management of the business, including implementation of continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
The position will also be required to develop a strong and capable results driven organization. This will be achieved through a robust development program, implementation of EMS systems and procedures with a strong focus on patient and employee safety.
Key Results AreaOn time delivery to customers going above and beyond with regards to Quality & Delivery.Fully trained and motivated workforce ensuring they carry out their duties to the required Baxter standards.Management of the monthly budget against a challenging balance score card.Drive a zero lost time injury culture using proactive tools (Safety Observations) and drive a safety culture within the organisationDrive improvements through process capability enhancements.Maintain and improve on the Baxter Tiered Meetings approach.Ensure day to day governance and disciplines to pharmaceutical and regulatory standards are adhered to cGMP and Audit Ready behaviours.Initiating NCR / CAPAs with full support for investigations in collaboration with the Quality team.Drive effective problem solving and support on time closure all NCR / SNCR /CAPAPromote employee engagement and Best Place to Work (BPTW)Create a multi skilled workforce to aid business stability.Provision of monthly reporting data.Coach and mentor employees to ensure effective performance in their roles.Promoting and driving a continuous improvement culture with quantifiable Year On Year savings.What are some of the benefits of working at Baxter?
