Your Career 

In this role, you will manage a team of Professional Services  Consultants in your assigned territory. You will be responsible for driving professional services business, providing management oversight to your team and all ongoing engagements, including recruiting, managing, directing, and inspiring a team with a diverse set of skills and backgrounds.  You will ensure the delivery of Palo Alto Networks solutions, exceeding expectations and driving high levels of customer engagement. You will also work closely with sales to ensure customer satisfaction, build relationships with all customers in your territory and ensure customer success and reference ability.

Your Impact

Provide strategic direction and input to the technical development of Professional Services Consultants reporting to youManage the activities of the team such as hiring, development, promotions, time off, expense reports, development growth, training, and corrective actionsBuild relationships with customers who have long term engagements to ensure that the timelines are being met, feedback on how the consultants are performing, escalations, etc.Build relationships with the sales team to ensure customer requirements are met, drive new business by utilizing Professional Services capabilities and offeringsEnsure all customer engagements are successfulProvide status to the Services leadership team on all major activities, issues, escalations, etc.Participate in the development and execution of strategic direction and input to the technical development of the Position requires weekly onsite customer meetings in NYC Metropolitan

Your Experience

Experience managing teams of 10+ multi-disciplined, technical resources and/or at minimum have experience managing highly complex client projects/programs with multiple stakeholdersKnowledge of networking technologies and managing teams in a large-scale deployment/environmentSkilled in key business systems – SFDC, Clarizen, G-Suite preferredKnowledge of cybersecurity technologies such as NGFW, SASE, SOAR, and  XDRThe ability to solve problems creatively and develop and manage business solutions for complex problemsDemonstrated leadership and team-building capabilitiesDemonstrated experience meeting revenue and/or customer satisfaction targetsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong emotional intelligence and ability to manage challenging situationsCertifications such as CISSP and/or others like PMP preferred

Our professional services team is critical to our success and mission. As part of this team, you enable customer success by providing support to clients post-sale. Our dedication to our customers doesn’t stop once they sign – it evolves. As threats and technology evolve, we stay in step to accomplish our mission. You’ll be involved in implementing new products, transitioning from old products to new, and will fix integrations and critical issues as they are raised. But you won’t wait for them to be raised, you’ll seek them out, too. We fix and identify technical problems, with a pointed focus on providing the best customer support in the industry.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $151000 - $208000/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
