Our Customer Operations Learning and Development team is responsible for developing learning content to support our frontline Customer Service employees. They use training and best in class learning technology to prepare our frontline employees to provide the high-quality customer support Spectrum is known for.

As a Manager of Curriculum Development, you’ll manage the design and development of Charter’s technical, customer service, sales, marketing, Spectrum Business, and leadership training programs with the goal of increasing customer satisfaction and generating revenue.

WHAT OUR MANAGERS OF CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT ENJOY MOST

Managing the design and integration of classes into a comprehensive curriculum for each training functionEnsuring each training course can be modularized and marketed to different employee groups as neededAssessing clients’ learning situations, expectations, resources, constraints, learning needs and gaps, and tasks in relation to the organizational mission and goalsManaging the development of training programs based on business and performance objectives identified by leadershipPartnering with teams to establish train-the-trainer delivery and certificationManaging implementation of ROI forecasting and impact studies of training initiatives

On a typical day you’ll collaborate cross-functionally to leverage existing materials, and develop programs to establish consistent Charter curriculum. If you are an instructional design subject matter expert, this could be the role for you.


WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Human Resource Development, Business Administration, or related field; specialized training in instructional design methodologiesExperience: Instructional design: 5 years or more; Project Management: 2 years or moreSkills: Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Abilities: Clearly communicate orally and in writing; lead and manage others, make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure, deal with the public in a professional manner

Preferred Qualifications

Experience: Management or leadershipSkills: Skills in measurement and evaluation of training initiatives; skills in teambuilding, relationship building, facilitation, and presentation; organizational development/change initiatives; knowledge of cable television products and services
