Overall Job Summary

This position is responsible for leading the strategy and implementation of hourly and exempt recruiting for all Tractor Supply Distribution Centers.  This role will manage a team of regional Recruiters who are responsible for the full life cycle recruiting of hourly roles in designated Distribution Centers.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%) Establish and implement a new process for centralized recruiting across all Distribution Centers focusing on the recruiting for hourly Team Members.  Accountable for meeting staffing goals across all distribution centers.  Develop, mentor and coach a team of 4 Recruiters.  Establish KPIs and measure progress to performance.   Develop and manage strategic initiatives and special projects for the Distribution Center recruiting teams including but not limited to; recruitment marketing, college recruiting, military recruiting, company referral program.  Develop and execute a sourcing strategy for TSC to ensure a premier employment brand that continually enhances the image of the company in recruitment campaigns and attracts candidates. Develop recruitment solutions and processes to measure effectiveness and satisfaction among internal and external customers to facilitate continuous improvement and capture relevant recruitment performance metrics.  Improve effectiveness of data capture and analysis and use data to identify trends, drive change, and assess progress.  Keep up to date and informed regarding recruiting best practices, trends, industry standards and competition. Develop an effective network of key talent from competitors, industry leaders, job fairs and social networking to recruit potential candidates.  Full life cycle recruiting for leadership positions including sourcing, interviewing and selection.   Provide updates and recommendations on various recruiting efforts and status to key stakeholders inlcuding Chief Supply Chain Officer, VP, Distirubtion Operations and Sr. Director, Supply Chain Human Resources   Plan and manage vendor management and consulting relationships. Partner with Manager of Diversity Recruiting to develop and execute diversity staffing solutions. 
  Required Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 5 years leading high volume recruiting, in a multi-state retail operation. 

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources or related field is preferred. Master of Business Administration or related advanced degree is desired. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

Professional Certifications: Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) accreditation is preferred.

Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities Knowledge of recruiting methods, laws, and regulations related to HR management. Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently. Detail-oriented approach to work. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Access and Excel. Knowledge and understanding of application tracking systems.
