Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case. **Summary:** The Manager, Capital Projects is responsible for leading a team of technicians to support all Digital Operations’ capital project initiatives. This role will work with the various RUSH project management organizations to successfully deliver on RUSH capital projects that have physical IT related needs. In addition, this manager will be responsible for assisting D&IS Operations with successful device lifecycle management. The Manager, Capital Projects will lead their team towards innovative solutions to help provide efficiencies and standards in support of the growth of the health system. The Manager, Capital Projects will foster an environment of collaboration and inclusivity between all teams within D&IS. **Other information:** • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field • Minimum of 5 years of technology experience • At least 3 years of experience working with cross-functional teams and staff of all levels • Expert knowledge of End User devices, including workstations, laptops, tablets, smart phones, soft phones, deskside phones, headsets, and other End User computing hardware devices • Knowledge of industry standard End User Services technologies such as Microsoft SCCM, Active Directory • Demonstrated experience in managing and leading teams, including coaching and mentoring team members • Familiar with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks • Excellent communication and collaboration skills **Preferred Job Qualifications:** • Strong analytic and process skills to track and improve team efficiency and performance • Organized, detailed oriented, and process driven **Physical Demands:** • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs **Competencies:** • Microsoft Desktop OS • Microsoft Office • Project management • Basic networking **Disclaimer:** The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this job. It is not to be construed as an exhaustive statement of duties, responsibilities or requirements. **Responsibilities:** • Create, Manage, and Maintain Digital Operations deployment standards • Lead team of technicians in the support of the deployment of all end user device types within the RUSH ecosystem • Partner with teams across D&IS on the deployment of RUSH capital projects • Support the management of desktop/laptop configuration and support, including image engineering and management, patching, upgrades, and software management. • Support the management of the RUSH asset inventory process • Collaborate with other teams within D&IS, such as Service Desk, Network, and Security, to ensure seamless integration and coordination of resources to support business needs • Development of project related documentation i.e Project Plans, Communications Plans, Timelines • Manage KPIs to identify capacity and staffing levels based on project schedules • Identify, track, manage, and resolve issues • Problem solving ability / Ability to analyze and solve problems • Develop and maintain a relationship with the clinical leaders, D&IS staff, and other key business stakeholders • Assist with handling elevated customer service issues and deployment challenges • Participates in Industry events and Trade Shows on occasion to educate self of industry trends • Ensure the customer’s voice is present in every decision • Promote positive support and interaction with team members Rush is an equal opportunity employer.
