Summary
Job Summary:
The Manager, Facilities Project Management is responsible for the management of all space planning activities, development, programming, implementation, and execution of capital projects. The Manager will work within the Division of Facilities and Support Services as a member of that team in delivering the highest level of customer service to Moffitt Cancer Center. Position will be key leader in managing our Facility Master Plan(s), defining the scope to the end-user’s project, and validating the legitimacy of enduser requests. In addition, the Manager will support our Integrated Facility Design team which focuses on continuous improvement/lean methodologies to design improved work environments that are patient centered, safe, efficient and affordable thus informing the architectural, construction and design processes.
The position is responsible for but not limited to: Capital Budgets, Expense Budgets, Financial Forecasts, Personnel (staffing, performance management, and talent development), operational efficiencies and timely execution of organizational processes, programs, and projects. Key success indicators are as follows:
Maintaining compliance with federal, state, local and The Joint Commission requirements Successful budgeting and completion of multiple, simultaneous projects Development of staff Coordination of project stakeholders to meet the needs of the organization
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, business administration or related field and a minimum of 8 years in construction management or program management --or-- an Associate's Degree (in lieu of) in construction management, architecture, engineering, business administration or related field and a minimum of 10 years in construction management or program management, inclusive of: 5 years in healthcare experience 5 years in a management role (may be inclusive of other experience) Valid Florida Driver’s License required within 6 months of employment Certified Healthcare Facilities Management certification (CFHM) -or- Certified healthcare Constructor (CHC) within 12 months. Experience with regulatory compliance such as Fire Marshal, Code Enforcement, AHCA, CMS, The Joint CommissionPreferred Qualifications:
