**Job Summary** The Manager, Finance oversees financial operations within the facility, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, financial regulations, and best practices. This role is responsible for financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis to support decision-making and optimize financial performance. The Manager, Finance collaborates with leadership teams to provide financial insights, manage cost control strategies, and support operational initiatives that align with the organization's financial goals. **Essential Functions** + Manages financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis, to ensure fiscal responsibility and alignment with organizational goals. + Prepares and analyzes financial statements, performance metrics, and key financial indicators to provide actionable insights to leadership. + Oversees the development and execution of financial plans, ensuring operational and strategic objectives are met. + Ensures compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements, including GAAP and healthcare financial regulations. + Collaborates with department leaders to provide financial guidance, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities. + Develops and implements internal controls and financial policies to maintain accuracy and integrity in financial reporting. + Leads financial audits and works with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and transparency in financial reporting. + Supports revenue cycle management initiatives, including billing, collections, and reimbursement optimization. + Performs other duties as assigned. + Complies with all policies and standards. **Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related required + Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred + 4-6 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial management required + 1-3 years of experience as a lead or in a supervisory role preferred + Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting preferred **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Strong knowledge of financial management principles, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. + Proficiency in financial reporting systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, and healthcare financial analytics tools. + Strong understanding of GAAP, regulatory requirements, and financial compliance in healthcare. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. + Effective communication and leadership skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present financial information to stakeholders. + Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and drive financial performance improvements. **Licenses and Certifications** + Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred or + Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred Equal Employment Opportunity This organization does not discriminate in any way to deprive any person of employment opportunities or otherwise adversely affect the status of any employee because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, citizenship, veteran status, or military or uniformed services, in accordance with all applicable governmental laws and regulations.
