Position Summary
The Manager of Financial Reporting provides the expertise and oversight of the financial reporting process with a broad range of knowledge in financial analysis, report creation and generation and strategic initiatives. The incumbent will support and/or participate in all levels of financial reporting within MultiCare as well as manage and be accountable for the financial reporting systems and processes. Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.Responsibilities
Provides support for the strategic vision and objectives of MultiCare related to financial reporting Serves as the expert in generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) for MultiCare Serves as the primary point of contact with MultiCare’s financial statement auditors and oversees all financial statement audits performed for MultiCare Ensures that all financial reporting deadlines are met in a timely and accurate mannerRequirements
Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, business or related area. CPA preferred; Prior public accounting experience preferred Eight (8) years comparable experience in a business or health care setting, with three (3) in lead or supervisory capacity Systems experience and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and OutlookOur Values

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $107,598.00 - $154,814.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
