Mgr-Helios Clinical Informatics Liaisons - Fulltime - Days
GENERAL SUMMARY: The Manager Helios Clinical Informatics Liaisons is responsible for operations and support of the Clinical Informatics Liaison program in the Ambulatory and Inpatient settings to ensure the highest quality and safe use of technology and the electronic health record (EHR). This includes planning design, implementation and project management; daily operational management; a focus on service excellence and employee engagement; staff skills development and fiscal responsibility. The Clinical Informatics Liaison program is an essential component of the Helios program, working closely with operational colleagues to achieve the clinical efficiencies and financial returns from the implementation of the EHR. The manager is a liaison with both project Helios, IT and clinical departments and will be directly involved in optimization efforts to meet system goals including patient safety/quality of care, revenue capture and efficient operations. Acts as a champion promoting and teaching nurses informatics principles to advance nursing practice. The manager performs these activities following HFHS standard processes. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: + Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or completion of other formal nursing education necessary to obtain/maintain a nursing license (Registered Nurse). + Masters Degree in Nursing, Business, Health Management or other related field preferred. + Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a relevant patient care setting with progressive nursing leadership responsibilities. + Two (2) years of experience working with Epic in a clinical, build or support role. + Three (3) years of clinical IT experience (5 years preferred) with strong knowledge/experience in clinical workflows and processes. + Able to articulate previous examples of workflows and processes associated with clinical experience integrated with IT solutions. + Experience in team leadership and responding to issues and concerns from a variety of customers from senior leaders through front line staff.
