Primary Purpose:
The HR Shared Services Manager is responsible for the HRSS Tier II team, handling complex HR inquiries, critical issues, and specialized support in areas such as Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Learning & Development, Benefits, and Payroll. This role ensures the efficient resolution of Tier II HR service requests and critical issues while driving process improvements to enhance overall HR service delivery. The HRSS Manager acts as a subject matter authority, providing strategic support for optimizing HR processes and leading team performance to meet organizational goals.
What you will do:
Oversee operations of the functional area support team, which serves as leverage for the HRBPs and COEs for inquiries related to Talent Acquisition & Onboarding, Learning & Development, Benefits, and Total Rewards. Ensure team members are equipped with the tools, training, and knowledge needed to resolve sophisticated HR inquiries effectively. Handle HR service request escalations. Set clear performance objectives and goals and provide ongoing coaching and development of the team. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team. Collaborate with HR business partners, managers, and other team members to understand their needs and provide effective support. Collaborate with HR business partners, centers of excellence, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive service delivery. Act as a point of contact for escalated issues and provide resolution in a timely manner. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.What you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 5+ years of experience in HR operations, with at least 2 years managing a team in a shared service environment. Solid understanding of HR functions, including Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Payroll, Learning & Development, and Onboarding. Ability to handle user problems and effectively work with different departments to resolve issues. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
