They work with senior management to define technical road maps aligned with market directions and communicate across other Business Units to share applicable technology. Our Engineering Managers leverage TE global technology to increase competitive position and increased value to our customers. They identify relevant technology trends and opportunities, develop relationships and partnerships with key customers, industry leaders and core suppliers, define and manage IP strategy, assess talent and implement development plans to assure succession planning and organization capability.What your background should look like:

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS – List the core requirements for this job.

•    Minimum 8 years of experience in Manufacturing environment with a strong emphasis on engineering and maintenance, with focus on process and equipment (medical device industry preferred).
•    Minimum 5 years demonstrable experience as a supervisor/manager in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
•    Desirable with working knowledge of mechanical design, clean rooms, Servo motors AC/DC, metrology, machine controls., grinding, molding, extrusion.
•    Experience with DFM, Lean/Six Sigma principles.

Education

•    MBA, bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, electromechanical, electronic or Maintenance is preferred).
