+ JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS + Job Summary : + Manager, under the leadership of the Chief Nursing Officer, is responsible for overseeing the operational and clinical performance of their assigned service line. The Nurse Manager serves as a leader, consultant, facilitator, change agent, mentor and coach. Creates a practice environment that embodies the values of patient care and implements a patient and nursing care delivery system that prioritizes the patient's well-being. Maintains 24/7 accountability ensuring seamless operations and safe patient care. The Nurse Director exemplifies and embodies the CalvertHealth Medical Center mission, vision, and values and acts in accordance with CalvertHealth Medical Center policies and procedures. + Education : + BSN or equivalent experience. MSN preferred. + Registration/Certification/Licensure : + Unrestricted RN license, valid in the State of Maryland + Achieve professional certification within six (6) months of eligibility + Experience : + 7 years progressive leadership experience required + 10 years clinical experience + Other Requirements : + Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements. + CPR required within 30 days of hire. PALS/ACLS required within 6 months of hire. PCN certifications required within 18 months of hire.
