At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. Job Overview TE Connectivity's Procurement Teams are responsible for developing and implementing multi-year strategies for commodities, suppliers and services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They generate forecasts and perform analysis to identify trends, opportunities, threats and needed course correction in purchasing, strategic sourcing and other areas of business. They are also responsible for creating "what if" scenarios to guide future business planning decisions. What your background should look like:

•    Bachelor's or Master's degree, in engineering, procurement, supply chain or business administration.
•    At least 5-10 years of relevant professional experience in Engineering or Procurement within a New Product Introduction role.
•    Experience with LEAN methodologies, 6Sigma experience a plus
•    Initial experience in team management is desirable
•    Experience in purchasing technical goods with strong methodical-strategic knowledge and operational-tactical know-how
•    Experience in cooperation with the development departments
•    Knowledge of the product lines and the associated manufacturing processes in the area of responsibility is advantageous.
•    Background and experience in the automotive or commercial vehicle industry is an advantage, as is knowledge of connectors or terminals
•    Very good knowledge of cost and price analysis techniques
•    Certification in project management or procurement, such as C.P.M or CPIM is desirable
•    Advanced knowledge of SAP, especially in the MM module
•    Very good organizational skills
•    Excellent negotiation and communication skills
