Overview The primary role of the Physician Relations Manager is to develop and maintain a physician relationship (outreach) program for UF Health Jacksonville. This program will establish strong relationships with targeted referral sources through consistent, strategic field call strategies that drive and sustain incremental volume in clinical growth programs and services in alignment with UF Health's growth strategies and business plans. Positively represents UF Health, its hospitals and care centers, clinical growth programs, and medical staff to referral sources, developing and strengthening organizational system/physician/referral source relationships that contribute to UF Health�s reputation and market position. As the manager of a team, this individual will establish sales goals/priorities for team members as well as coach staff in preferred tactics and management of physician relationships. Develops and maintains a strong tracking program. Responsible for developing a budget to support our strategic plan, clinical growth programs, and tactics, and also provides budget management throughout the year to maximize ROI/referral growth within the approved parameters of the approved budget. Maintains a thorough log of expenditures to adhere to UF, UF Health, and state and federal regulations. Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor's degree Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree with a business, marketing, or healthcare focus Required Licensure/Certifications: N/A Preferred Licensure/Certifications: N/A Required Experience: At least 2 years' experience in physician relations management Preferred Experience: 5+ years' experience with physician relations management Necessary Skills: 1. Works out of the office the majority of the time, traveling to facilities within a defined geographic area. 2. Works at a fast pace, prioritizes multiple activities, and responds in a timely manner to numerous requests. 3. Possesses creative thinking skills to navigate complicated situations with strong problem-solving abilities. 4. Willingness to accommodate physicians� schedules, which may occasionally fall outside standard office hours. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 6. Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments independently. 7. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team toward departmental objectives and craft communications driven by strategic goals.
