We are looking for you to join our team as a Manager Quality Engineering 1 based out of Woodland Hills, CA

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This is an on-site position.
What You’ll get to Do:
Supervises and manages employees who test and/or inspect products to determine compliance with specifications. Responsibilities are in the following functional areas in the Mission and Quality Assurance job family: Receiving & Inspection and Manufacturing Floor Inspection & Test of military, space based, and civil aviation programs.Responsible for daily operations of a team or work unit (direct supervision of the staff, assignment of work, schedules, day to day workflow, and operating costs). Program Manager responsibilities are broad, covering responsibility for all aspects of program performance on a delivery order to name a few.Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (Quality, Engineering, or related STEM degree) with at least 6 years of relevant experience (3-4 years of specific quality experience); 4 years with a Master’s Degree. An additional 4 years of experience may be used in lieu of a degree. Experience to include a broad scope between engineering, quality, and manufacturingExperience with aerospace quality standards (AS9100, ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements.Experience with military and government specifications.Experience process improvement methodologiesLeadership experienceAbility to obtain and maintain an active Secret Clearance.US CitizenPreferred QualificationsPrior experience with Aerospace primes (Boeing, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, etc.).Prior experience with FAA repair station requirements.Practical experience in inspection and testing.What We Can Offer You –
