Overview **Position Summary:** Primary responsibility for leading and developing teams responsible for Receiving & Shipping, and Inventory management at designated RDC operation; driving a LEAN continuous improvement culture and approach; develop and deploying process standards, tools, and technology; and leading and supporting RDC initiatives. **Key Job Responsibilities:** + Manage day-to-day operations of the RDC, inclusive of receiving, shipping and inventory management. + Lead RDC and inventory fulfillment team and their corresponding activities. + Collaborate with Planning teams to maintain appropriate part inventory. + Track, cycle count & maintain inventory (New & Used) accuracy; reconcile discrepancies. + Assign tasks as needed to ensure receiving and shipping performed timely (within SLA). + Reconcile invoice discrepancies for purchased inventory; POC for AP inquiries. + Oversee warranty / guarantee submission for inventory on a timely basis. + Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment (i.e., forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.). + Identify and drive continuous improvement with OS&D (IB & OB). + Analyze and proactively identify inventory shortages and/or delivery issues. + May mentor and train new Warehouse & Inventory Specialists. + Onboard, train, and mentor team as needed. + Review, analyze and create reports as need. + Maintain a safe parts/warehouse operation per government safety regulation and company policy. Manage team to ensure all work is completed in a safe manner. + Other duties as assigned. **Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** + **Leadership** – Ability to set the direction for the entire department, providing guidance and mentorship to team, and overall responsibility for team performance + **Supply Chain expertise** – Knowledge and understanding of basic functions like receiving, shipping, inventory management + **Organizational** – Focused, intentional results driven individual. Ability to manage through ambiguity and create action plans to meet objectives. + **Communication** – Ability to present in small groups, holding one-on-one conversations with customers, internal & external team members + **Data analysis** – Ability to look at data and identify opportunities, or make recommendations + **Other** – Able to work flexible hours, when necessary, proficient with computers, smart phones, & tablets, ability to read, interpret, and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. **Special Requirements, Licenses, or Certificates:** + Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record + Maintain efficient record keeping skills + Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy warehouse and delivery environment + Maintain valid forklift certification per local government regulation and company policy **Physical Requirements:** + Specific physical demands may vary based on assigned geography or equipment + Must be able to lift up to 35-100 pounds and will frequently work in a variety of environmental conditions (both weather and non-weather related) + Push and pull hand carts loaded with washers and/or dryers and/or air machines + Ability to maneuver in restrictive areas; often squatting, kneeling, crawling and reaching overhead, while lifting, holding and maneuvering tools or service parts weighing from 20-50 lbs.
