Mgr-Regnl Ops-First Aid

Responsibilities:

-- Establish and maintain outstanding customer service within assigned geographic area.

-- Recruit, select, hire, develop and educate Route Sales employees.

-- Effectively manage the region’s top accounts.

-- Aid in conducting evaluations of staff to provide feedback on their overall performance, growth and customer service skills.

-- Create a pervasive sales culture that fosters a strong brand orientation and supports achievement of sales objectives.

-- Proactively follow up on accounts in jeopardy and lost accounts.

-- Identify growth areas and retain 100% of the region’s customers.

-- Make direct sales/service calls to customers and resolve service concerns expeditiously.

-- Maintain close coordination with the warehouse regarding product delivery, service and customer issues.

-- Perform route observations weekly.

-- Identify areas of growth.

-- Act as a working knowledge resource for the FSS/FAS Sales Professionals and their Managers.

-- Perform ride along days with FSS/FAS sales reps to assist in the sales process and strengthen the prospect’s understanding of the Western service model.

-- Facilitate account submission protocols on closed sales from the FAS teams, unifying the FSS/FAS, Vestis management, Western office staff and Western sales on account submission and installation.

-- Participate and support FSS/FAS Sales Professionals with proposals and product specification. 

-- Educate, source and price all safety product requests from potential clients for FSS/FAS personnel from a network of 90,000 safety items.

-- Sit in and assist on cold calls/site visits with large opportunity clients.

-- Manage Fleet operations for vehicles in their region. Includes scheduling PMs and oversight of repairs/vehicle logs.

-- Travel and stay in various cities of assigned region to assist operations, train and develop all sides of the first aid operation.

-- Oversee and strategize within Western staff a regular cost control inventory for all vehicles, which happens simultaneously in various states of assigned region.

-- Assist in all levels of geographic expansion of the business, including: staffing, vehicle sourcing, product procurement, training, and establishing a customer base.

-- Log and discuss systematic issues in weekly management meetings to navigate a developing and fluid product expansion.

Qualifications:

-- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

-- Two years of service and route-based industry experience, with proven track record for growing accounts.

-- Previous P&L accountability and/or service experience preferred.

-- Strong interpersonal, analytical, communication and customer service skills.

-- Must be able to frequently lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds as well as load/unload product from a truck without assistance.

-- Solid computer skills including working knowledge of MS Office software.

-- Open to relocation for advancement opportunities.

-- Successful completion of Criminal Background, Motor Vehicle Record, and Drug Screen checks.
