The Role

The Regional Solution Architecture Manager will lead and develop a team of Solution Architects while driving technical strategy and architectural excellence across the region. This Solution Architect team comprises Solution Architects specializing in Network, SD-WAN/SASE, Cloud, and Cybersecurity. The role involves overseeing the design and implementation of comprehensive solutions that meet customer needs and align with Lumen's strategic goals. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and strategic business alignment to deliver innovative solutions to our customers. 

The Main Responsibilities Lead and manage the APAC Solution Architect team, ensuring alignment with regional and global strategies.Oversee the development of technical solutions for Network, SD-WAN/SASE, Cloud, and Cybersecurity, ensuring they meet customer requirements and industry standards.Jointly identify the strategic target accounts together with Lumen’s Sales teamsWork with the sales teams to identify and map out the key stakeholders in target accounts and manage the relationships within the accountsDrive innovation by leveraging proprietary Intellectual Property (IP) assets to position Lumen as a trusted network partner, strategic advisor, solution builder, and operator for AI-driven enterprises.Ensure effective communication and coordination within the team and with other stakeholders.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners in the APAC region.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the Solution Architect team.Monitor and report on team performance, ensuring targets and objectives are met.Provide advisory and guidance to prospects whilst building a trusted relationshipIdentify the products/solutions/partnerships/alliances required to deliver & supportValidates and ensure generated proposals & SOWs from the Solution Architects team are of quality work that meets the customers’ business needs and goals. Replicate successes across the RTMs
 What We Look For in a Candidate Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.10+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales or solution architecture role within the telecommunications or IT industry, with a focus on the APAC region.Deep expertise in Network, SD-WAN/SASE, Cloud, and Cybersecurity solutions.Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and closing complex deals.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Industry certifications relevant to the area of expertise (e.g., Cisco CCIE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.

Requirements:

Thorough understanding of Enterprise Architecture frameworks with experience across Cloud Computing services, enterprise applications, cybersecurity and network infrastructure. Experienced in determining business and technical requirements by analyzing or evaluating a prospect’s business strategies and challenges, researching or studying their current architecture / platform / workloads / policies / processes.Good knowledge of local markets and competitor landscape.Attention to details.Excellent communication and presentation skills, including whiteboarding, to a variety of external audiences, including being able to interact with C-level / senior executives.Desire to continuously seek opportunities to increase client satisfaction. A passion for winningExceptional customer service skills
