This role is responsible for leading and mentoring a team of product owners, driving the development of innovative, client-centric solutions. The role is responsible for the teams’ growth and development, identifying opportunities for professional advancement while ensuring successful delivery of value-driven products.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of product owners, ensuring alignment with agile principles and healthcare industry best practices to deliver high-quality, patient-centric products.Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders to define product roadmaps, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of solutions that meet compliance and regulatory standards; and maximize value.Drive continuous improvement in agile processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospective sessions, to enhance team productivity and product quality in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Ensure product alignment with strategic business goals, value drivers, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, CMS, and state laws), while balancing stakeholder needs and technical feasibility.Partner with portfolio stakeholders to collaboratively design and develop system and process features.Work with portfolio stakeholders to understand the strategy and needs of the organization; lead department operations by developing vision and dispensing guidance, direction, and authorization to execute major plans and initiatives.Drive discovery and identification of issues to ensure timely resolution; utilize data analysis and customer research to resolve issues.Works with the product teams to update, prioritize and sequence the Portfolio Backlog Epics, based on strategic direction and balancing other needs of the organization, clients, or dependent portfolios.Other duties as assignedEducation & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience6 years of work experience working with changes to business processes and/or relevant business experience1 years of leadership/people management experienceMust be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.

Master’s Degree in business, IT or other advanced degreeExperience with working in an agile environment, User Experience (UX) Design, writing Product Discovery/Definitions for software, minimum viable product, Scrum, and/or Lean startupExperience with qualitative and quantitative analytic approachesExperience creating and managing complex development projects in a highly dynamic environmentExperience leading large, complex product teams and cross-portfolio initiatives that require problem solving, relationship building and influencingExperience with change management, and leading diverse teams to solve problems and pursue opportunitiesExperience delivering on premise and cloud/mobility products and working with commercial software design concepts, practices, and proceduresSAFe Product Owner / Product Manager (POPM) CertificationExperience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or related industryPhysical Demands
