 Position Summary:
The Warehouse Manager in Training role is a position designed to prepare you for a management career within Core-Mark’s organization. As a manager trainee, you’ll gain hands-on experience leading personnel to include recruiting safety and compliance food safety measures, training, and other projects in a friendly and supportive learning environment. Our trainees assist operations management across Warehouse, Transportation, and Facilities. The Warehouse Manager in Training will assist in managing to an established operations budget and plans for future growth and assisting in the implementation of changes as needed to accommodate business needs. Functions as a team member within the department and organization as required and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for learning DOT & OSHA safety programs and systems; operations business processes, systems & tools; performance management.Collaborates with all frontline managers to learn the day-to-day business operations (i.e. Warehouse Manager, Transportation Manager, Inventory Manager, Logistics Manager, District Sales Managers)Works with safety to continue to create a safety conscious cultureCompletes the assigned Perform curriculum and all other assigned trainingsPerforms other related duties as assigned.
