Mgr. FP&A - Capital & Productivity

The opportunity:
We are seeking a Financial Manager to join our corrugated finance team. The finance manager will report to the Senior Finance Manager, Capital and Productivity. This opportunity will partner across the business with key areas of focus including productivity tracking, capital analysis, product costing, and process and reporting improvements across the segment. The finance manager will participate and support various team projects and will be expected to interact with numerous functional departments (at Corporate, Segment and plant levels) and with all levels within the company. The position will assist in improving the performance of the Business through analytical support, facilitation, and engagement
How you will impact WestRock:
* Capex
* Partner with Engineering Team to ensure best possible Capex allocation to drive best decision to improve business performance
* Control Capex spending and advise operations leaders to ensure the achievement of WestRock targets
* Own the plant tier model to drive capital allocation decision making
* Maintain Corrugated Container Group deliverables monthly
* Drive process efficiency improvements through data automation
* Lead capital post audits and engage with operation leaders
* Productivity
* Lead the process to track segment productivity goals
* Partner with regional finance and operations leads to ensure understanding of our productivity metrics on monthly basis, ensuring proper productivity discussion cadence supporting the Business Leaders to drive decisions to improve Business performance
* Standardize reporting for projects savings tracking
* Control monthly productivity HFM loading for Group reporting
* Costing
* Lead and manage all plant cost models across the Corrugated Container segment.
* Perform ad-hoc costing updates as needed in Kiwi estimating system
* Drive continuous improvement to automate and streamline costing functions
What you need to succeed:
* Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA strongly preferred
* Minimum five years of experience and a track record of success in finance or accounting
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Strong problem-solving skills, passion for improvement. Enjoy working in a team/collaborative environment
* Advanced skills in Excel and Hyperion SmartView. Experience JDE/SAP, QlikView and Alteryx a plus.
* Ability to work independently, balancing routine responsibilities with ad hoc requests
* Previous experience in manufacturing industry (corrugated/packaging), preferred but not required
