Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a MH-139 General Mechanic willing to work on 1st and/or 2nd shift and periodic weekends supporting the MH-139 program at Maxwell AFB, Alabama.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changesProviding on the job training (OJT) to USAF personnel will be requiredOversees assembly, disassembly or overhaulConfigures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipmentTroubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.Performs validation/verification testing of systems and componentsDocuments procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results)Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirementsWorks under general direction

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Minimum of 3 years' experience with Military aircraft maintenanceMust have thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers.Must be willing to work variable shifts

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience with AW-139 or MH-139 maintenance and/or modificationsExperience with rotorcraft maintenanceHold or held an Airframe and Power plant (A&P) LicenseGeneral Mechanic experience desirable

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

Summary pay range: 59,500 - 80,500
