ABOUT THE ROLE:

Retail sales staff drive individual consumer sales helping potential consumers connect with the Cavco brands, understand the product offerings, engage in the purchase decision, and facilitate closure of the purchase and delivery of the manufactured home. Retail sales staff champion the overall sales experience.

 

The Sales Representative is accountable for direct to consumer retail sales working with consumers to understand Cavco products and ensure a quality, satisfying sales experience. He/she assists the general manager with sales center inventory, reorder process, training, and review of staff. This role works independently executing process steps, conducting analysis, problem solving and delivering recommendations.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Negotiate prices or terms of sales or service agreements. Prepare and submit sales contracts for orders. Visit establishments to evaluate needs or to promote product or service sales. Maintain customer records, using automated systems. Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, or credit terms. Quote prices, credit terms, or other bid specifications. Contact new or existing customers to discuss how specific products or services can meet their needs. Emphasize product features, based on analyses of customers' needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations. Compute customer's installation or production costs and estimate savings from new services, products, or equipment. Assist customers in selecting products based on customer needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree (in Marketing or Business preferred) or equivalent relevant, related experience Minimum of 2- 5 years related experience with progressive sales responsibilities. Strong analytical aptitude Problem solving and negotiation skills Ability to be creative, strong presentation skills and a self-starter Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Publisher Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Results oriented, attention to detail and good time management skills
