Minimum experience and education: Candidates with a BS degree must have the minimum of 11 years or 132 months of work experience specific to the job description.
If a candidate has a Master’s degree, they still need a minimum of 11 years or 132 months of work experience but only nine years or 108 months of experience specific to the job. The other work experience to meet the 132 months does not have to be IT related.
Work experience while in college can be counted toward the overall years.

If no degree, work experience may be substituted.
Background clearance: All candidates selected will have to go through a Federal government background check prior to being able to start. Generally, the background process takes between 3,4 or 5 weeks. The time is dependent on how quickly the candidate is able to complete the paperwork.
Candidates will obtain a Public Trust clearance upon approval.

Qualified candidate will provide senior-level data analysis support regarding Management Information (MI) and Business Intelligence (BI) data for highly visible project. This candidate will assist with performing data analysis, validation, and verification of vendor and customer data. Candidate must have strong analytical skills, team player and exhibit strong oral and written communication skills. Candidate must be accustomed to working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with limited supervision. Provide expert recommendations, guidance and best practices to team and customer.

Skills Requirements:

•Experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or MySQL.
•Experience in design of Business Intelligence.
•Experience with one or more scripting/programming languages (e.g. bash/ksh, Perl, Java, C#, etc.).
•Extensive experience with Excel.
•Solid understanding of data management concepts.
•Experience with relational database design and development.
•Experience preparing reports that compile and present data in a simple and understandable way for the team and the customer.
•Expert proficiency in writing database queries to run ad-hoc reports and analyze data.
• Expert proficiency in using analytical tools and instruments.
•Ability to work with large amounts of data and analyze it to find conclusions.
• Ability to understand and implement data manipulation / ETL scripts in support of data conversion and Business Intelligence solutions.
• Perform analysis of issues raised from constructed scripts and reports.
•Ability to create detailed functional requirements derived business needs.
•Experience writing technical documentation, including technical diagrams for visualization of concepts.
•Experience translating business needs and functional requirements into solutions, including data flows and custom-developed reports.
•Ability to perform end-to-end testing of developed scripts and other automated data processing, including unit tests and quality assurance checks of production data.
• Experience with Call Center data analytics.
•Experience with Hadoop and other Hadoop-related products a plus (e.g. HBase, Hive, etc.).
Expert proficiency in Excel, including using formulas and functions to help with ad-hoc data analysis.
