We have an exciting opportunity to join Santander Internal Audit as an MI & Reporting Manager within the diverse, challenging and growing Audit team. You’ll play a key role supporting delivery of the Internal Audit strategic plan, enabling decision-making through provision of management information and insights.

As a member of the Internal Audit department, you’ll need to share our passion about adding value to our people, customers, communities and stakeholders providing robust independent assurance and challenge on the effectiveness of processes and controls across the bank with exposure to senior stakeholders across our global organisation.

Enriching Internal Audit’s data, usage and accuracy, providing value-adding insights to Senior Management and ensuring proactive remediation of data anomaliesAuthoring high quality MI packs for a range of internal and external audiences and responding to MI requests and challenge from Internal Audit senior managementCoordinating Internal Audit’s submissions to Board and Executive committees to deliver high-quality, targeted reporting to senior stakeholdersContributing to the delivery of the Internal Audit strategic objectives, including the digital transformation of the function by developing process enhancements, data analytics and automation, as well as the people strategy including identifying areas for ongoing improvementBuilding extensive professional relationships with senior stakeholders
 

What you’ll bring.

These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:

Experience of using data visualisation and analytics tools e.g. PowerBI, QlikViewExperience of the Financial Services industry (Retail and Corporate Banking businesses)

It would also be nice for you to have.

Excellent presentation, report-writing and communication skills (advanced Excel and PowerPoint) with a track record of creating accurate and timely reports for a senior audienceAnalytical skills in interpreting qualitative and quantitative data and business process automation

What else you need to know.

This permanent role is based in Unity Place - Milton Keynes.

We want our people to thrive at work and home, and also be able to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and to help each other develop. To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).
