Entry-Level Microbiologist | $18.00/hr to Start

Full Time Hours | Mid-Day Shift with 2 Days Off a Week

A local company is seeking an entry-level Microbiologist to join their team. Responsibilities:

Conduct microbiological tests and experiments on samples to ensure compliance with health and safety standards Perform routine lab analysis, including identifying micro organisms and assessing contamination levels Record and interpret test results, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting Maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and ensure proper calibration Adhere to all safety protocols and proper disposal procedures for biological materials Assist with other laboratory duties as assigned, including preparing media and equipment for tests

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a related field (required) Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent organizational and communication skills Willingness to learn and grow within the microbiology field
