They offer services to the food and nutrition industry in the way of testing, auditing, consulting, training, research and other various services. You have the opportunity to work in state of the art laboratories at competitive compensation, multiple shifts made available to you, and with generous overtime! **Pay:** $20 **Schedule:** Tuesday – Saturday, 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM **Location:** Stone Mountain, GA **Responsibilities:** + Perform microbiological testing and follow SOPs to ensure quality control and accurate results. + Record and enter data into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and resolve discrepancies. + Conduct rapid tests and confirm bacterial strains in samples, ensuring accurate identification. + Prepare and process samples for analysis, including weighing, blending, and plating. + Support root cause analysis and suggest corrective actions as needed. + Maintain laboratory cleanliness, adhere to safety policies, and follow training requirements. + Assist with inventory management, equipment record updates, and continuous improvement efforts. **Qualifications:** + Associate’s degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field (Chemistry degree also accepted). + Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience, specifically with PCR, Vidas, and plating methods. + Strong understanding of microbiological testing techniques. + Experience with LIMS and laboratory data management. _This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
