Job Description

The Microbiology Technician will be responsible for conducting facility validation and routine testing at our clients GMP facility, located in Clayton. The validation testing will include viable and non-viable environmental monitoring, utility testing and management of sample logistics. You will work within a team of technicians to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner and procedures are adhered to. Training will be provided.

Reporting to the Microbiology Team Leader the role will focus on:

Performing a range microbiological, chemical and physical environmental monitoring and utilities testing in grade A, C and D areas.Adhering to testing procedures at all timesOperate under GMP regulationsResult entry and reviewPerform OOS investigations as required

Qualifications

As an important role within Eurofins PSS®, the following selection criteria are essential for success:

Diploma in Microbiology or Laboratory SkillsPrevious GMP experience

Additional InformationWilling to operate in a flexible manner and be able to switch priorities at short notice.Good team player, organised, accurate, have strong documentation skills.Demonstrate problem solving in delivering process and analytical understanding.Good understanding of requirements for working in a GMP environment.Occasional weekend and public holiday work will be required.Ability to quickly learn new processes.
