Responsibilities:
* Apply aseptic technique in all work conducted
* Documentation of sample preparation, quality control and analytical activities
* Prepare and analyze samples for pathogens, indicator organisms, probiotics, and other microbes
* Accurately perform testing methods and read testing results
* Responsible for the completion of required training to progress to more complex tasks

Qualifications:
* BS in Microbiology or a Life Science.
* Knowledge of aseptic technique
* 1+ years of laboratory experience in a commercial food testing analytical laboratory desirable but not required.
* Knowledge of ISO 17025 or GLPs desirable but not required.
* General knowledge and experience in microbiological testing desirable but not required.

Physical Demands:
* Must have full dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer and carry out required testing and tasks
* Capable of keeping up with a fast-paced, goal-oriented team
* Color vision and depth perception necessary
* Occasional lifting of up to 50lbs
