Microelectronics Assembly Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Microelectronics Assembly Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and assembling complex microwave assemblies. Your duties will include:
+ Troubleshooting: Visually inspecting wire bonds and chip placements to identify defects.
+ Assembly: Installing substrates and components using paste and sheet epoxies.
+ Measurement: Utilizing measurement equipment (e.g., reticle, drop indicator, bond puller) to ensure units conform to specifications.
+ Planning: Assessing work in progress to meet schedule requirements.
+ Collaboration: Working with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering teams on procedures and troubleshooting methodologies.
Basic Required Qualifications:
+ Experience in wire bonding and ribbon bonding (0.001” and 0.0007” wire and various sizes of ribbon).
+ Proficiency in using microscopes and hand tools such as torque drivers and tweezers.
+ Experience in microelectronics assembly (chip and wire assembly).
+ Active or previously held clearance
Desired Skills:
+ Active Secret Clearance
+ Experience in hybrid assembly in accordance with Mil STD 883.
+ Experience wire bonding or ribbon bonding to ceramic or duroid substrates.
+ Familiarity with West bond and Metcal bonding machines and Unitech welder.
+ Experience in substrate and component attachment, auto pick-and-place.
+ Proficiency in operating auto or manual bonding equipment.
+ Experience working in an ESD and FOD controlled environment.
+ Experience in mechanical assembly processes of small electronic devices.
+ Experience working on military products in ISO 9001 / AS9100 controlled environments.
