Your Role 

This is a customer-focused, hands-on position that involves daily interaction with team members. Under the supervision of the Director of Collaboration Services, the M365 Administrator will provide technical support to 6,000+ team members across the globe and maintain, monitor, and optimize Gensler’s Microsoft 365 collaboration suite of tools, including Microsoft 365 SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform. You will be expected to lead ideation efforts and provide technical oversight in planning, designing, and executing collaboration technology solutions.   

 

What You Will Do 

Provide Microsoft 365 SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform support for PCs, Macs, and mobile device users in a large international organization. Perform administrative management tasks in accordance with Gensler’s governance and security policies. 

Identify opportunities.  Lead product evaluations and assessments.  Recommend solutions to improve the security, reliability, and efficiency of Gensler’s Microsoft 365 ecosystem.  

Partner with stakeholders to design, build, and deploy collaboration-related projects and service solutions.  Implement future M365 technologies such as CoPilot in accordance with Gensler’s project and change management process.  

Facilitate business processes by using Microsoft Power Automate. Write PowerShell cmdlets to perform administrative functions.  

Creation and ongoing maintenance of policies and procedure documentation.  Develop and lead training sessions. 

  

Your Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or 10+ years of related experience 

A minimum of 5 years administrating Microsoft 365. Must have a strong working knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture and how it integrates with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Teams and OneDrive administration and support experience are required. Power Platform administration experience is highly desired. Knowledge of Graph API and Sharegate 

CoPilot knowledge desired 

Box administration desired – Box CLI, Box Apps, Box Relay 

Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work and communicate effectively on all levels, from users to C-level leadership in a creative, matrix organization. 

Multi-tasker who works effectively on a team, as well as independently in a fast-paced atmosphere, juggling multiple tasks and projects under shifting priorities and deadlines. 

Believes in gathering and sharing knowledge for the overall benefit of themselves and of the team.  Passionate about their work and understand how it fits into the business operations.   

Forward thinker.  Takes an initiative in improving work processes.  Able to translate business requirements into workable solutions and resolve complex problems. 

Attention to detail, problem solver, strong organizational skills    Tier 3 support experience in an Enterprise environment

*In Los Angeles, the compensation range is between $112k-124k plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience
