Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Focus on design and implementation of support technologies for an enterprise deployment of Active Directory and remediation of the existing environment, Storage and Servers (both Physical and Virtualized) Infrastructure.
- Responsible for developing and configuring infrastructure components such as Windows Server 2008/2012 R2, Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) server, Microsoft Terminal Services Server, and virtualization services such as VMware and Microsoft HyperV.
- Participate in the migration of Windows Server 2003 to 2012 R2, AD remediation and the upgrade of Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 to 2012.
- Design, implement and configure the systems needed to support an enterprise AD infrastructure.
- Design, implement and configure the enterprise server infrastructure and have upgraded an enterprise environment from 2003 to 2012 R2.
- Design, migrate and configure SCOM from 2007 to 2012.
- Create training material(s) to provide to the customer on all solutions implemented.
- Create standard operating procedures on all solutions implemented.
- Research, evaluate, and remain current on emerging tools, techniques, and IT technologies.
- Work closely with client to perform technical and requirements analysis.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and deploy various core and advanced Microsoft 365 Services.
- Support of various M365 services including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Defender and Endpoint Manager (Intune) administration.
-Troubleshooting mail flow issues and implementing mail protection strategies.
-Implementing and managing security and compliance features in Microsoft 365, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Conditional Access policies, and Azure Information Protection (AIP).
-Configure Teams settings, channels, and integration with other Microsoft 365 services.
- Author and utilize PowerShell scripts to maintain and automate processes.
-Develop solutions to enhance productivity and streamline administrative tasks.
- Provide recommendations on environment architecture and best practices.
-Participate in maintaining Azure Active Directory users and groups.
-Keep track of latest M365 developments and best practices - including Microsoft roadmap and releases changes.
-Monitor Microsoft 365 services for performance, availability, and capacity planning.
-Partner with Information Security to implement new and update existing processes, outlining best standard security practices for M365 services.
-Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to align Microsoft 365 services with business objectives.
-Planning and executing migrations from on-premises systems to Microsoft 365.
-Troubleshooting of escalated issues related to Microsoft 365 services promptly and effectively.
-Create training and documentation for junior level personnel and other departments.
-Review and develop incident management processes to minimize service disruptions and ensure continuity.
-Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 5+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ideal candidates will have experience in more than three technology areas identified above as well as the ability to quickly learn new technologies in a dynamic enterprise environment.
- Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Exercises judgement in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
- Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel as a team lead.
Education/Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required, preferred field of study in Information Technology or Engineering, or additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
-At least 5 years of relevant experience.
-Experience in system engineering, software engineering, operating systems, programming or architecture to include: At least two (2) or more years of hands-on; Planning, deploying, and configuring Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune and OneDrive for Business.
-Ability to obtain 6C security clearance.
-Experience with the following: Windows Server 2019/2022, Global M365 Administration, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Endpoint Protection (Intune), Cisco Secure Email Service, Microsoft Defender, Compliance, Data Loss Prevention, and eDiscovery.
-Familiarity with CMMC and NIST requirements is a plus.
-Familiarity with M365 Commercial, GCC, and GCC High tenants licensing model is a plus.
-Experience providing Tier 1 and/or Tier 2 support in an enterprise level, globally distributed environment.
-Experience authoring and running PowerShell.
-Experience designing and installing applications.
-Leadership skills to assist less-experienced personnel.
-Ability to demonstrate aptitude for learning and rapidly mastering new applications and technology.
-Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers, senior-level personnel and team members.
-Ability to work well both independently and in teams.

-Ability to participate in on-call rotation.
-Ability to work during non-business hours and on weekends for support, if required.
