The Microsoft Business Applications Manager is responsible for managing and directing the activities of a team that assist with process improvement and operational efficiency using Microsoft Business Applications and provides high level support and problem resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
·Responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of a Microsoft Business Applications Center of Excellence (team/governance program that focuses on the growth of these applications within Woodforest and applies the right administrative boundaries and governance).
·Provides vision for innovative, flexible, and scalable solutions using Microsoft Business Applications.
·Own, prioritize, and maintain the Product Backlog, including defining epics, writing user stories, documenting defects, and defining acceptance criteria and business requirements documents to support design, development, and testing efforts.
·Participate in (or lead, when appropriate) Agile and/or Hybrid Agile/Waterfall methodology activities: daily stand-ups, feature review, grooming, estimation, release planning, sprint planning, retrospectives, stakeholder and other required sign offs, and sprint demonstrations.
·Meets with decision makers, system owners, and end users to capture requirements, produce technical designs and documentation, and implement solutions using Microsoft Business Applications.
Competencies Required:
·Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Business Applications such as Dynamics 365 CRM, D365 Finance and Operations, and Power Platform.
·Extensive knowledge in Excel and Power BI.
·Extensive organizational, process and project management skills with the ability to establish a strategic direction and develop and manage supporting initiatives.
·Ability to prioritize and manage workload in a high-pressure environment and instill a sense of urgency in others as necessary to meet deadlines.
·Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and achieve results through the efforts of others.
·Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively identify and develop solutions for business needs.
·Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
·Strategic and problem-solving mindset with developed analytical abilities and organizational skills.
·Exceptional verbal communication and technical writing skills with an ability to effectively interact with and convey information to people who possess varying levels of understanding on applicable topics.
