Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Data Warehouse Architect and Solutions Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the data warehouse architecture and data pipelines, integrating data from various source systems into the data warehouse and to outbound applications. This role ensures the efficient, accurate, and secure flow of data from various sources into the data warehouse, supporting the organization's data analytics and business intelligence initiatives. Scope of responsibility is the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise data systems. Full breadth of database schema modeling and development. Full breadth of data pipelines, data interfaces, API and end-point connections. Support day-to-day ETL, data warehouse, and data/application interface operations. Troubleshoot and resolve scheduled processing errors and data file issues as needed. Technical development to change, test and migrate new changes as required. Support IT teams and end user questions as required. Participate in project activities; planning, design, development, unit/integration/user testing, production migration and cutovers. Skills and Requirements Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.  Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in data architecture and integration related positions.  Proven experience in data architecture, data engineering, and data warehousing.  Proven experience in data integration, ETL processes, reverse ETL processes, and data pipeline development. Preferable deep experience building and analyzing stored procedures, Power Shell scripting, Visual Cron and on-premise and cloud Microsoft data integration, analysis and data pipeline development tools.  Strong proficiency in Microsoft data management tools and database management systems (SQL Server, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Postgres, etc).  Experience working with application and enterprise integration tools (i.e. Boomi Technical Qualifications (Must Have): - Expertise in the following Microsoft database technologies: o MSFT SQL Server 2016 database o SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) o SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) o VisualCron job scheduler and automation tool for Windows. - PowerShell Scripting (recent and expert proficiency level): o Proficient in PowerShell scripting, including automation, task scheduling, and advanced scripting techniques. o Experience with PowerShell modules, cmdlets, and scripting best practices. o Knowledge of error handling, logging, and debugging in PowerShell. o Ability to automate system administration tasks, such as Active Directory (AD), Windows Server, Exchange, and Azure. o Experience integrating PowerShell with REST APIs, JSON, and XML. o Ability to create custom PowerShell functions and modules. o Familiarity with PowerShell Desired State Configuration (DSC) for infrastructure automation. o Experience in using PowerShell for cloud automation (Azure, AWS) o Data Migration & Integration: Experience using PowerShell and SQL for database migrations, data imports/exports. - Stored Procedures & SQL (recent and expert proficiency level): o Strong experience in writing and optimizing SQL stored procedures. o Knowledge of T-SQL (Transact-SQL) for Microsoft SQL Server. o Experience with query performance tuning, indexing strategies, execution plans. o Proficient in creating, modifying, and debugging stored procedures, triggers, functions, and views. o Knowledge of database normalization and schema design. o Experience handling transactions, error handling (TRYCATCH), and exception handling in stored procedures. o Familiarity with SQL Server Agent jobs for automation and scheduling. o Understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using SQL and PowerShell.
