Microsoft Dynamics System Administrator

CGL is a provider of justice facility planning, design, and program management and maintenance solutions to justice facilities and other public facilities throughout the U.S. and internationally.

A Brief Overview
The Microsoft Dynamics Administrator will serve as the primary support and champion of the Dynamics platform. Partnering with internal customers, this role will oversee the administration, maintenance, field support, customization, and configuration of the platform. They will partner with internal teams to assess system requests, assist with system training as needed and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

What you will do

Serve as primary system Administrator and maintain a high-performing system, ensuring quality and functionality. Monitor system performance Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the new D365 modules and ensure standard security practices are always implemented around user and group access. Serve as the primary support for Microsoft Dynamics environment to include system backup, maintenance, patch updates, error logs, and release management Provide field support by answering questions or handling help desk tickets/escalations Manage and maintain user permissions, security roles and security teams Ensure that data in Dynamics is accurate and protected against unauthorized access Partner with team members across the organization to help train new users and support existing users with system usage such as data entry, reporting, and basic system functionality Monitor Dynamics operations and conduct performance analysis to assesses options for optimizing and configuring the system Participate in IT and cross-functional meetings to support staff and various team members to review upcoming Dynamic issues, items, and trainings Address and resolve issues that team members inquire about Manage system requests, assess viability and collaborate with IT resources to determine solutions Administer configuration changes and execute tests to assure changes will not have an impact on the production system Assist with modifying and maintaining system customizations to dashboards; views; business processes, workflows, and dialogs; templates; lead nurtures and email sends; reports, fields and forms; among other possible customizations Stay abreast of industry best practices and recommend solutions to enhance organizational efficiency Implement solutions to enhance system efficiency and scalability. Perform backup and restore, copy and reset actions Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, dashboards and reports, workflows. Performing database maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests and deduplicating data. Document processes and development requirements. Create training documents and provide training to end users on proper application. Preparing PowerBi reports for key departments with proper access security to ensure key data is maintained to proper personnel.


Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent work experience and/or education Required 1-3 years System administrator for Microsoft Dynamics Required 1-3 years IT Helpdesk/Customer Service/D365 Experience Required 4-6 years Microsoft suite and their functionalities and security principles Required 1-3 years Microsoft Azure Cloud Experience Required 1-3 years Training curriculum development and delivery Preferred 1-3 years Project Management Skills/Experience Preferred 1-3 years Proficiency with Microsoft PowerBI Reporting Required Microsoft Dynamics Certification preferred Microsoft Azure Certification preferred
