Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft Security Consultant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Microsoft security solutions,
including but not limited to Microsoft 365, Azure, Azure Active Directory (AD), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA),
Conditional Access, and Azure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). The consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing,
and managing security solutions to protect our clients' data and infrastructure from cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
Security Assessment and Planning: Conduct comprehensive security assessments to identify vulnerabilities in clients' Microsoft environments. Develop and implement security strategies and roadmaps tailored to clients' needs. Implementation and Configuration: Deploy and configure Microsoft security solutions such as Microsoft Defender, Azure Security Centre, and Microsoft 365 security features. Implement and manage Azure AD, MFA, Conditional Access, and Azure RBAC to ensure secure access management. Integrate security solutions with existing IT infrastructure and third-party security tools. Incident Response and Management: Provide expertise in incident response and management, including investigation, remediation, and reporting. Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks. Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST). Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls. Training and Support: Provide training and support to clients' IT and security teams on Microsoft security technologies and best practices. Offer ongoing support and advisory services to ensure sustained security posture. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and security requirements. Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, compliance, and management, to deliver comprehensive security solutions. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on Microsoft security solutions. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure Security Centre, Microsoft Defender, Azure AD, MFA, Conditional Access, and Azure RBAC. Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001). Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate. Experience with cloud security architecture and best practices. Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members. Personal Attributes: High level of integrity and professionalism. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for cybersecurity.
