The Microsoft Teams Phone System Administrator will be responsible for implementing and managing the organization’s
Microsoft Teams Phone System infrastructure. The administrator will work closely with IT teams to ensure seamless
integration with existing systems and provide exceptional user experience.
The administrator will ensure that the collection of communications tools and solutions, such as voice, IP telephony
calling, instant messaging, desktop sharing, presence, and web conferencing, audio conferencing, and video
conferencing, interact together in a virtually seamless way for real-time collaboration.

Responsibilities

● Design and implement Microsoft Teams Phone System solutions, including voice routing, call
queues, auto-attendants, and other advanced features.
● Configure and manage phone number assignments, call policies, and device settings.
● Integrate Teams Phone System with existing telephony systems and infrastructure.
● Monitor and troubleshoot Teams Phone System performance and user issues. Maintain and update
system documentation and procedures.
● Manage user provisioning, de-provisioning, and updates.
● Configure and manage emergency calling and location-based services.
● Implement security best practices to protect sensitive voice communications.
● Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
● Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
● Provide technical support to users regarding Teams Phone System features and troubleshooting.
● Train and educate users on the effective use of Teams Phone System.
● Respond to user inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

● Basic understanding of Microsoft Teams Phone System (or other VoIP Systems) architecture and
functionalities.
● Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including Azure AD and PowerShell.
● Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Strong organizational and time management skills.
● Must be able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
● Ability to work off-hours as necessary to work with other teammates in diverse global regions.
● Able to speak and write in English language. Multi-lingual desired.
● Desired - Experience with network infrastructure, including SIP trunking and VoIP protocols.
● Desired - Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Python).
● Desired - Experience with call recording, analytics, and reporting tools.
● Desired - Prior experience with manufacturing software and working in a manufacturing business is
a plus but not required.
