Position Overview:
As part of the talented Navico Group Sales team, you will significantly contribute to year over year sales growth and operational improvement by growing existing business, finding new business, and representing Navico Group within your assigned territory. This role is responsible for all of Navico Group’s brands, including Simrad, Lowrance, B&G, CMAP, Mastervolt, and others.
Role is remote but candidates must reside in Mid-Atlantic region.

Essential Functions:
Meet or exceed sales objectives while maintaining acceptable gross margins.Grow market share of brands and products assigned for territory.Establish and manage yearly dealer sales targets and provide the company with accurate sales and inventory forecasts.Plan and execute territory sales plans and strategies as part of overall company strategy.Establish and maximize strong dealer and customer relationships.Assist brands in product development, pricing and OEM, retail and wholesale incentive programs.Carry-out brand-specific training programs for dealers when required.Provide input into product materials, including catalogs, brochures, website content, boat shows and other marketing events.Assist brands and dealers with event planning and execution, including boat shows, dealer open-houses and other like events.Create dealer-specific marketing plans for each territory in the region. This also may include teaching the dealer how to maximize investment through e-marketing, etc.Support communication across Brunswick business units.Provide company with accurate and timely competitive information.All other duties as assigned.Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of sales experience in marine, outdoor recreation, or adjacent industry2+ years of experience selling or integrating technical productsHighly proficient with Microsoft suiteStrong analytic skills. Able to use data/internal tools to analyze and assist customers increase salesExperience with territory management and customer call planning.Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.Proficiency in financial analysis (i.e. gross margin, sales growth, etc)Initiative to drive solutions from beginning to end.Willingness to travel up to 80% of the work week. Travel flexes with season.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferredAbility to organize and manage multiple priorities,Demonstrated experience in managing retail, distribution channels and dealer networks.Meaningful experience in sales or sales management, preferably in the marine or fishing industry.Creative problem solving and critical thinkingAbility to be flexible and adapt to rapidly changing marketsExperience with eCommerce sales strategiesWorking Conditions:
Normal office working conditions. Typically requires prolonged sitting with consistent computer functionality.Ability to communicate information and ideas for others to understand by phone, email, and/or messagingNavico Group promotes a” dress for your day” dress code which may include casual, business casual or business professional attireUp to 80% travel based on seasonality. Must be able to travel by plane and car.The anticipated pay range for this position is $72,000 - $115,300, annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
