A Week in the life of a Mid-Level Analyst, Portfolio Manager:

Serve as the functional and technical expert to assess and support oversight of rapid prototyping efforts, including concept development, technical development, programmatic oversight, assessments, and transition of capabilities that align to the DoD and other strategic priorities. Provide project management support for project proposal reviews, analysis, and funding recommendations.  Responsible for analysis and evaluation of project effectiveness, assessing project development, and overall execution.   Provide technical expertise to assist in discovering, assessing, and evaluating cutting edge technologies that will enable execution of the emerging Joint Warfighting Concept (JWC). Provide technical expertise to assist in monitoring the technical progression of S&T prototyping projects. Prepare, coordinate, and staff ongoing projects and technical/operational demonstrations (i.e. funding documents, memorandums, agreements, program reviews, reports, briefs, etc). Collaborate with government labs, the Services, academia, and industry as required to ensure successful project execution. Support and attend various stakeholder engagements to include DoD and IC boards and councils (i.e. Functional Capabilities Board), communities of interest forums, technical exchange meetings, and working groups.
