Job SummaryBattelle’s National Security Division is seeking a Global Combat Supply System – Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) Clerk for full-time work in Albany, Georgia |Camp Lejuene, North Carolina | Camp Pendleton, California | Okinawa, Japan. The personnel will support the inventory accountability of chemical, biological, radioactive, and nuclear defense (CBRND) equipment and supplies in support of Marine Corps Systems Command and Logistics Command to provide sustainment to the Fleet Marine Force.
The successful candidate will support the government and contractor team. Tasks assigned will include, but are not limited to, accountability, asset identification, warehousing, transacting in Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) and Enterprise Management System (EMS) to ensure 100% accountability of CBRND items in compliance with Department of Defense/Marine Corps materiel management policy. The successful candidate will benefit from a military background and must be a self-starter.
Key Qualifications 5-7 years experience in Supply Chain Management Significant experience transacting in Global Combat Support System - Marine Corps (GCSS-MC)Ability to lift 50 lbs in general storage and warehousing tasksAbility to hold a DOD SECRET Security ClearanceHigh School Diploma
Preferred Qualifications Experience working on-site at government client location.Knowledgeable/Experience with Marine Corps Supply processes and procedures.Knowledge/Experience with Enterprise Management System (EMS) and TDM-CatalystKnowledge/Experience with Microsoft applications. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and maintain effective working relationships with government staff.
