The Mid-Level DevOps Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the CI/CD of all software development is carried out smoothly while recommending best practices. She/he is the technology evangelist for all tools, frameworks, and technologies to help product development.

ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities/Duties:
Responsible and accountable for establishing and maintaining the DevOps processes for the software development teamUnderstands the current in-house DevOps and build processes, makes necessary recommendations for improvements, and implements those changesBridging the gap between legacy development or operations teamsWorking collaboratively toward a shared vision and cultureEnsure system uptime and performanceWork to equip developers with the best tools.Defines and maintains DevOps best practicesEnsures that the company’s DevOps process has the cybersecurity in mind, maintain cybersecurity practices in the DevOps processesProvides management support to the DevOps team including the supervision of resolution of legacy environmental issues in the sandbox environmentOther duties as assigned. QualificationsProfessional Qualifications:
4+ years of solid professional experience in the DevOps practices of software development specifically supporting infrastructure development, site reliability engineering, and improving CI/CD pipeline automation.Must have 4+ years of experience with AWS Cloud.Must have 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/Terragrunt and CloudFormation.Must have 2+ years of experience with Docker and container orchestration using AWS ECS or EKS..Must have 3+ years of experience building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines utilizing GITHUB and Jenkins in AWS cloud environment.Must have 3+ years of experience scripting with bash, PowerShell, python, etc.Experience with Infrastructure and application monitoring using AWS CloudWatch, NewRelic and Splunk.Experience with AWS AI services like AWS Connect, AWS Textract, AWS Comprehend, AWS Transcribe and AWS Lex is a huge plus.Strong understanding of UNIX operating systems – Prefer Linux and Linux Administration, Windows is a plus.bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.Personal Skills:
Comfortable in stepping out of the comfort zone to suggest, test, implement new technologies and frameworks.Ability to independently research and suggest solutions for ongoing improvement including new frameworks and infrastructure requirements.A passion for scaling software, ensuring high availability enjoyment of automation and demonstrate a proactive approach to detecting and resolving issues.Must be a self-starter and motivated by enabling other engineering teams to deliver services with relentlessly high standards through a combination of best practices and DevOps leadership – expects and encourage the same from team members.Strong communication skills - both written and verbal. The ability to articulate ideas to non-technical audience.Agile oriented in approach to engineering and operations, including being comfortable with ambiguity in a flat organization.Believe in a quick improvement approach: Fail fast, learn fast, improve fastAdditional Information:

The minimum starting salary for this position is $120,000. The actual salary may be higher and will be determined by several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
