Title: Mid-Level Electrical Engineer KBR is seeking an Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to join our team in Kihei, HI Responsibilities: + Design, operate, and maintain custom and COTS electrical systems for sensors, telescopes, lasers, adaptive optics and ancillary observatory equipment. + Prepare and maintain electrical systems specifications and CAD drawings. + Design and build custom telescope and imaging systems, including adaptive optics, lasers, mount control, system controls and atmospheric compensation capabilities. + Oversee installation and testing of electrical equipment to confirm compliance with customer requirements. + Identify and resolve problems with existing systems. + Evaluate customer requirements for performance, reliability and capability and assist in the development of novel solutions. + Monitor customer needs and determine requirements and possible solutions.
