Essential skills and experience:
A BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program is required3 or more years of experience in the design of electrical engineering systems in a project team environment with a focus on integrated, detailed system design for new plants, or modifications or replacements for existing plants; experience should include the selection of equipment, materials, control philosophy, and the preparation and assembling of calculations and specificationsExperience is required with electrical system design including medium and low voltage distribution systems (transformers, generators, motors), equipment selection, and analytical calculationsExperience with serving as firm/client liaison in a support or lead engineering roleExperience in reviewing design drawings created by othersEffective critical thinking and problem solving skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsEffective working in teams and individual workDetail oriented approach to work
