We are seeking a Mid-Level Instrument and Controls Engineer for a contract-to-direct assignment in Boise, Idaho. The selected candidate will work on projects that include state of the art industrial and commercial facilities.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

** This position has a pay rate of $40 - $52/hr **
Responsibilities- Perform regular field walks
- Attend project meetings
- Develop I&C drawings
- Construction specifications
- Specify instruments
- Write sequences of operations
- Produce designs for industrial production facilities, cooling and utility plants, semiconductor tool installations, HVAC, process, and piping systems
- Producing process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), control panel drawings and wiring diagrams
- Producing buildable AutoCAD drawings for project installations
Qualifications- Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- 5+ years experience working with Instrumentation and Controls
- Working knowledge of PLC's, DCS and other controls applications
- An Engineer-in-Training Certification (EIT) is a plus
