Mid-Level Java Developer

We have an immediate need for a Java Developer with strong backend systems, software, and cloud experience to support a complex program. The developer will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing.

The developer will be working with a small team of developers to support and enhance an existing application.

Primary Responsibilities:

Build and enhance REST-based microservices using Java, SpringBoot, and Hibernate.Develop and direct software system validation and testing methods using JunitLeverage Atlassian tool suite like JIRA and Confluence to manage workloadApply and identify best practices and standard operating procedures

Basic Qualifications:

Candidate MUST HAVE a TS/SCI Security ClearanceBS with 4-8 years relevant experience or a Masters with 2-6 years relevant experience.  Proficient with common Agile practices and service-orientated environmentsExperience in using Java, JavaScriptExperience utilizing software testing performance tools, such as JunitWell versed with using version control systems like GitlabExperience with ElasticSearchExperience in relational databases like PostgreSQLExperience with Spring FrameworkExperience with development in Commercial Cloud Platforms (ex, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)Experience with leveraging cloud data services (ex: S3, RDS, EFS, DynamoDB) 

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiar with deploying to AWS via CloudFormation scriptsFamiliar with API Documentation tools like SwaggerOriginal Posting Date:2024-11-07

Pay Range:Pay Range $81,250.00 - $146,875.00
