Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking an Experienced Quality System Specialist (Level 3/4) to support the Core Quality team in Oklahoma City, OK!

A Mid-Level or Experienced Quality System Specialist will develop and maintain the Oklahoma City Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers Quality Management System, lead process councils, prepare and present quality metrics, promote continuous improvement, primary support to coordinate the AS9100 audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements.  This is a current 9/80 position with a minimum of 3 days in the office. Preferably Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Remote on Mondays and non-off Fridays. Subject to business needs.

Position Responsibilities

Leads multi-function, multi-site groups to develop company directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployedLeads stakeholders in analysis of process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of complex problems and development and implementation of preventive or corrective actionsConducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capabilityDevelops scope, schedule, plans and leads hardware, software and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements, and reports results to managementTrains senior management on preparation for third party audits

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate degree from an accredited course of study3+ years Quality / AS9100 or ISO9001/ Quality ProcessesExcellent organization skills, communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment3+ years Root Cause and Corrective Action experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Previous work in aerospace, manufacturing, quality or another highly regulated industryExperience working multiple projectsProject management skillsProficient in the Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM) to include both preventive and correction action enabling proactive problem solving and risk mitigationPossess the ability to work on and lead special projects to enhance the Quality Management System across multi functional, multi platform processes and functional teams

Summary pay range:

Level 3: $74,800– $101,200

Level 4: $93,500 - $126,500
