Summary:

This position is responsible for the support of operational tasks required within the Chief Accounting Officer’s Division, with special emphasis on supporting both the cost allocation and forecasting processes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 
• Serve as subject matter expert for cost allocations
• Coordinate with the finance team to ensure allocations stay relevant in the face of a fluid organizational reporting structure
• Maintain and run the end-to-end allocation process monthly and as needed to support planning activities
• Support the planning team by coordinating updates and consolidations of planning data in Essbase
• Prepare and maintain documentation for standard operating procedures
• Support Audit requests
• Provide support for operational functions within Accounting Services
• Produce ad-hoc reports and information extracts as required for business analytics
• Participate in data loads to various systems
• Conduct all activities in a professional manner that reflects First Horizon’s culture and ethics

Job Requirements:

• Ability to communicate in an effective and professional manner both orally and written
• Proficient understanding of allocations and planning system functions
• Must be able to handle conflict and work with all resource levels within the company
• Must be able to learn in a high paced environment

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Management Information Systems preferred
• 9+ hours of systems type classes preferred (MIS, computer science, visual basic, etc.)
• Proficient in commonly used Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in Oracle EPM Cloud, SQL, and Essbase preferred
• 4-5 years of experience in accounting systems, finance, or similar field
• Ability to maintain positive attitude in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
