**Koniag Professional Services LLC,** a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a skilled Mid-level Project Manager to support **KPS** and our government customer in Washington, DC. **This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust.**

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of effectively communicating with government personnel and managing multiple projects and directing other project resources. This position requires the candidate to work onsite in the Washington, D.C Metropolitan Area.
**Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:**
+ Support the development and maturity of the Project Management Office (PMO) by implementing standardized processes, governance frameworks, and best practices to enhance project efficiency, oversight, and strategic alignment.
+ Support Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) initiatives by assessing process maturity, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices to enhance organizational performance and compliance.
+ Assist government stakeholders in setting up projects, leveraging project management tools, and facilitating project management processes to ensure efficiency and alignment with organizational objectives.
+ Preparation of Management Plans, cost analysis, activity and project tracking schedules, risk registers, and risk and issue mitigation strategies for all PMO activities.
+ Provide management and coordination of projects ranging in scope from single system to Agency wide implementation.
+ Meet with stakeholders to determine requirements and manage requirements throughout the project.
+ Develop detailed work breakdown schedules to track milestones, tasks, and resource allocation to meet project deadlines.
+ Ensure project deliverables are met and identify and mitigate schedule risk. Ability to provide direction and leadership to a team of project managers.
+ Ensure all phases of the project are documented as outlined in government policies and processes.
+ Provide input for government investment management process. Must be well versed in the federal acquisition and investment management processes.
+ Overseeing all aspects of workflow and program management, with a focus on maintaining excellent communication with government stakeholders.
+ Communicate effectively with government personnel and maintain appropriate contractor management interface with client leadership, COR, and technical points of contact.
+ Managing staffing levels, oversight, service level agreements, and performance requirements to ensure program success.
+ Demonstrating foresight in program planning by identifying problems, providing alternative solutions, and minimizing impacts to the program.
+ Improving processes through training, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables to avoid government intervention during critical times.
+ Following policies and procedures, leading teams effectively, and demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
**Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:**
+ 5+ years of experience in Program Management and working with stakeholders.
+ Strong written communication skills and diplomatic abilities.
+ Operate independently with minimal direction, taking the initiative to drive project outcomes and deliverables while proactively identifying and addressing challenges to ensure successful execution.
+ Proven track record in managing program resources and communicating with personnel.
+ Ability to cope with stress, problem-solve effectively, and manage time efficiently.
+ Understanding general project management principles and best practices.
+ Utilize knowledge of AI tools to enhance automation, data analysis, and decision-making within project workflows.
+ Ability to work onsite in the Washington, D.C Metropolitan Area.
+ Strong presentation skills
+ Must hold an active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification prior to applying and maintain this credential throughout the duration of the contract.
+ Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or related field from an accredited college or university.
