One of our clients in Irvine, California is looking for a Scrum Master with the following skills and experience:

Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced and adaptable Scrum Master to drive Agile excellence within our organization. The ideal candidate will be CSM-certified and bring hands-on expertise in leading Scrum ceremonies, removing roadblocks, and maintaining roadmaps. This role requires a dynamic individual who can tailor Agile practices to fit the organization's unique needs while fostering collaboration across large, fast-paced teams.

Qualifications & Requirements:

CSM Certification (Certified Scrum Master) is required.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.Experience: 5-7+ years as a Scrum Master preferred, but highly capable professionals with 2-4 years will also be considered.Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, SDLC, and Release Management.Proven ability to support large teams in a fast-moving environment; experience in startups or small companies may not translate well.Exceptional problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a commitment to going the extra mile to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

Scrum Leadership: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.), ensuring Agile best practices are effectively implemented.Roadblock Resolution: Proactively identify and eliminate impediments, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.Release Management: Oversee Scrum ceremonies and delivery pipelines, attending Change Advisory meetings to ensure production readiness and alignment with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between teams, ensuring alignment across workstreams and journey teams to drive end-to-end Scrum support.Agile Adaptability: Customize Agile frameworks to meet business needs-rigid Agile purists will not be a fit.Enterprise-Level Impact: Work with large teams in high-pressure environments, ensuring smooth execution across departments. Candidates with experience in Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), Ecommerce, or retail are preferred.Problem-Solving & Ownership: Exhibit a proactive mindset with a "no task is too small" attitude, aligning with the organization's mission and ensuring successful project delivery.
