Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Mid-Level Supplier Quality Engineer to support the St. Louis Air Dominance team in Berkeley, MO!

Position Responsibilities:

Manages Supplier Nonconformance Responsibilities and issues Supplier Corrective ActionsAnalyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Recommends corrective actions to address non-conformances.Performs problem-solving through analysis of metrics to improve supplier performance.Provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives.Reviews supplier audit results and initiates requests for audits when needed.Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.Provides Quality interpretation of requirements.Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities.Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.Works under general direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's, Master's or Doctor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

1+ years of experience working in Quality, Supplier Quality or Supplier Management

1+ years of experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and failure analysis

Experience in quality inspection and/or auditing

Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard

Experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions

Currently possess a valid driver’s license

Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Aerospace Industry Experience

Experience leading key process, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives

Experience interfacing and presenting to senior and executive leadership

Experience with regulatory requirements

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $88,400 – $119,600
